Fruit
Today was fruitful. We were able to get the accent pieces framed and ready for the big beam placement over the weekend. Speaking of which, calling all volunteers/friends/endentured servants, we need help lifting this beast probably will need four of us to set it and get the holes drilled for the carriage bolts. We also got the retail counter started and are moving right along on getting the build dialed in. The space feels great right now, we hope to remove the drop ceiling in the Fall as it would really add some vertical footage and open the space up nicely.
The shop has certainly been keeping us busy with painting, securing our insurance, dialing in the merchant services, getting our business license, and all of the MILLION other tasks required to get a company off the ground. But the SUPPORT has been amazing, thanks to everyone that seems genuinely excited for a gear shop in the gateway of the Uintas.
After work I pedaled the three wheeler over to the South Summit Trails Foundation Monthly Meeting and couldn't help but snap a "life behind bars" shot on the way back to the shop. Even ran into some friends I didn't know lived in town and got to enjoy a sunset while catching up with them. Today was a good day.
